Moldmaker / Toolmaker Job Description: A Dynamic Toolmaker is responsible for the precision fabrication, assembly, maintenance, and repair of injection molds and tooling components. This role requires a high level of craftsmanship and attention to detail to ensure molds meet exacting specifications and support high-performance production. The Toolmaker collaborates closely with engineering and production teams to ensure tooling solutions align with customer and manufacturing requirements. Experience with high cavity, stack, multi-shot, insert, tight tolerance, multiple action, and medical molds is desired. Duties/Responsibilities: - Fabricate, assemble, and fit complex injection molds using manual and CNC machining equipment. - Interpret engineering drawings, CAD files, and specifications to build and modify tooling. - Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on molds to ensure optimal performance and longevity. - Conduct mold trials and support validation processes to ensure tooling meets quality standards. - Troubleshoot and resolve tooling issues in collaboration with engineering and production teams. - Maintain accurate documentation of tooling changes, repairs, and maintenance activities. - Operate precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and tolerances. - Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in all tooling operations. Qualifications: - 3+ years of related experience - Knowledge of the injection mold building and injection molding is a plus. Education: - Associate degree from a two-year college or technical school - Completion of a certified tool and die apprenticeship program is preferred Certifications/Tech Expertise: - Certification in Tool & Die Making or equivalent trade certification preferred. - Proficiency in CAD/CAM software and CNC programming is a plus. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: - Experience working in a high-precision mold shop environment. - Familiarity with conformal cooling, collapsible cores, and multi-shot molding technologies. - Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: - Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. - Prolonged periods of standing, bending, and working with machinery. - Manual dexterity and visual acuity required for precision work.
CNC Programmer Job Description: This position will require candidates with strong programming experience with 3 and 5 axis vertical CNC machines. Knowledge of plastics injection molds is preferred but not required; we are willing to train the right individuals. We are looking for hard-working candidates excited to be a part of a team-oriented workplace. Responsibilities/Skills: Programming for electrodes, steel, and mold bases Knowledge and understanding of Power mill/Autodesk and Creo/ProE or the willingness to learn. Manipulating CAD models for programming Designing and programming electrodes Program 3 and 5 axis vertical machines Ability to work with tight tolerances Are detail-oriented and meticulous in their work Communicate/Coordinate with various departments and management to meet or exceed customer requirements and deliveries. Strong mathematic skills and the ability to read a blueprint Qualifications: 3-5 years of CNC programming experience High School diploma or equivalent


Sinker EDM Specialist Job Description: A Dynamic Sinker EDM Specialist is responsible for operating and maintaining sinker EDM (Electrical Discharge Machining) equipment to produce high-precision mold components. This role requires a deep understanding of EDM processes, electrode design, and fine-tolerance machining. The Sinker EDM Specialist plays a critical role in supporting the production of complex injection molds with tight dimensional and surface finish requirements. Responsibilities/Skills: - Set up and operate sinker EDM machines to produce mold components to exact specifications. - Interpret blueprints, CAD models, and work instructions to determine machining requirements. -Design and fabricate electrodes using graphite or copper materials. - Monitor EDM operations and make adjustments to maintain accuracy and surface finish. - Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools and ensure conformance to tolerances. - Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of EDM equipment. - Collaborate with toolmakers, CNC programmers, and engineers to optimize EDM strategies. - Maintain accurate records of setups, tooling, and job progress. QUALIFICATIONS: 5+ or more years of experience in sinker EDM operations, mold making, or precision machining. Education: Associate degree from a two-year college or technical school Preferred educational background: Technical diploma or certification in mold making, machining, or EDM technology. Certifications/Tech expertise: - Proficiency in sinker EDM machine operation (e.g., Sodick, Makino, Mitsubishi) - Knowledge of electrode materials and design - Familiarity with precision measuring tools and inspection techniques - Understanding of mold design and steel types PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: - Experience with Makino Sinkers a Plus - Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Experience with automated EDM cells and integrated metrology - Good communication and documentation skills PHYSICAL DEMANDS: - Frequent standing, bending, and lifting (up to 50 lbs.) - Use of hand tools, measuring instruments, and PPE - Exposure to manufacturing environment conditions
2nd Shift - Wire EDM Specialist Job Description: This position will require candidates with strong machining experience on EDM Wire machining centers. We are looking for hard working candidates excited to be a part of a team-oriented workplace. Responsibilities: Setup, program and operate all Wire EDM machines to Dynamic Tool Corporation standards Read engineering drawings and use necessary measuring devices to produce or modify existing tooling, new tools, or old tools Able to understand and perform to quality standards, methods, usage of inspection devices and reporting as required Determine/modify machine parameters to maximize machining efficiency Repair or request replacement parts, tooling or hardware as needed Communicate with project managers and toolmakers as to procedures and job status Maintain good attendance and flexibility as work priorities may change Qualifications: Experience with the use of measuring equipment, micrometers, calipers, etc. for inspection 2+ year Wire EDM experience


2nd Shift - Vertical CNC Specialists for Hurco / Hard Cutting Machines Job Description: This position will require candidates with strong machining experience on both vertical and horizontal machining centers. We are looking for hard-working candidates excited to be a part of a team-oriented workplace. Responsibilities: Setup and program tooling required for each project Setup and tear-down workpieces and fixtures in machining centers Use required inspection equipment to verify finished workpieces meet requirements Communicate with programmers, toolmakers, and management on projects as required Qualifications: Experience with the use of measuring equipment, micrometers, calipers, etc. for inspection 2 years of experience running CNC machining centers Experience with CNC programming a plus
