CNC / EDM Applications

DYNAMIC Tool & Design has always been at the leading edge of technology. We were among the first mold making shops in the country to use a CNC toolchanger, and traveling Wire EDM with autothreading capabilities, allowing us to run machinery unattended.

Our ability to complete requirements according to the most precise standards in the industry, on time, every time, is made possible by our experienced staff of technicians, our state of the art machining centers, and conventional and wire EDM equipment.

We feature a full complement of Mitsubishi CNC EDM sinker machines with tool changers and Mitsubishi traveling wire EDM machines with auto-threaders and UV axis programming. Our EDM machines routinely run around the clock unattended. The robotic systems linked to these machines change electrodes and work pieces automatically.

High Speed Hard Cutting

High Speed Hard Cutting allows us the ability to cut cores and cavities in hardened steel while holding very tight tolerances. The hard cutting process, in many cases, eliminates extensive polishing and as a result lead times are shortened. 

Robotics

One of our latest innovations is the use of robotics in the manufacturing process. The robotic systems run 24 hours a day 7 days a week, completely unattended. So, even when the “lights go out”, your project is still in production and meeting the demanding lead times of today’s global market.
